What does it cost to join?

Nothing. There's no deposit, no buy-in, and no minimum order.

How does my shop make money?

For Set 1 Alpha Edition, you earn 15% on every Kickstarter purchase through your link. From Set 2 (Q1 2027), you earn a 25–35% override on every box sold through your store code. Early shops lock in a lifetime bonus.

What do I get when I sign up?

Your custom link and store code, your order portal, plus a personalized media kit — ready-made graphics to promote Origins to your community.

How do my customers get their product?

Origins processes every order and delivers it straight to their Steam account. You never touch fulfillment.

Can online-only sellers or streamers join?

Yes. Online stores, Whatnot and live sellers, and marketplace sellers are all welcome.

Will big box retailers carry Origins?

No. The program is for local game stores and direct sellers only.

Do you support tournaments?

Yes. The Local Tournament Hub comes with Set 2 for shops with play space. Origins sends online players to your tables for tournaments built around cards you can't get in the game. There's one hub per city or metro area, and pre-registering as a local store prioritizes your shop for city-exclusive tournament promos.

When does the program launch?

Now. The Set 1 Alpha Edition Kickstarter partnership starts immediately, and the Kickstarter is live Oct 27 – Dec 5. The Digital Game Shop Program starts with Set 2 in Q1 2027.

Is registering binding?

No. Registration is free and non-binding. We'll reach out with next steps.

How do players trade or sell their cards?

Cards can be bought, sold, and traded on the Steam Community Market and its connected marketplaces.
